ABOUT ANNE

As a communications professional for more than thirty years, Anne offers a broad range of experience in writing, public relations and marketing for government, corporate and non-profit organizations, locally and nationally. In 2017, Anne left Idaho to live in France for three months (writing a travel blog about her adventures), then relocated to Oregon, where she now provides communications consulting services.

Anne began her career as a sportswriter and broadcaster in Idaho, while earning a Journalism degree. She attended graduate school in California where she became a senior publicist for Disneyland and later, a public relations manager for the Walt Disney Company in Burbank. She returned to Idaho to accept the executive director position at Idaho Special Olympics, eventually representing the northwest region on the organization’s U.S. Advisory Council. In the years that followed, Anne’s communications career included positions with the City of Boise, Albertsons Food and Drug company, St. Luke’s Health System, Elks Rehabilitation Hospital and Idaho Power. She taught at Boise State University as adjunct faculty in the Communications Department for five years (Communications 478: Public Relations — The Profession and the Practice), and later administered a three-year federal grant for the university.
